・Providing information on cancer incidence, mortality, and survival rates through cancer registration
・Opening public and scientific seminars, conducting surveys and research, and training of cancer registry personnel
・Improving the health and medical care, and promoting countermeasures against cancer in Japan

・Surveys and research on cancer statistics and cancer registration
・Cooperation with the International Association of Cancer Registries (IACR)
・Human-resources training in connection with cancer registration
・Formulation, publication, and certification of privacy standards for cancer registries
・Publication of guides to cancer registration, pamphlets on cancer incidence and mortality, staff manuals, and other publications
・Other activities as needed to achieve the objectives of the Association
